VOX is back

Over the last few years, we’ve lost count of the number of people who told us, “We miss VOX magazine.”

For over 12 years, VOX brought up-to-date news, stories and thought- provoking articles to encourage and inspire Christians in Ireland. And at last VOX is back.

At the intersection of faith, life and reality in 21st Century Ireland, VOX magazine gives voice to Christians who want to engage with one another and with the world around them. It was Vox Hibernia - Latin for "the voice of the Irish" - that brought the 5th century slave-turned-priest Patrick back to the land of his captivity and set in motion a transformation that sent shock waves across Europe. Our passion at VOX is to give voice to Irish Christians once again - to inspire, question, equip, inform, wrestle, challenge and encourage a new wave of Irish world-changers.

In partnership with Praxis, we are once again on the move.

We are currently gathering stories of faith and finding out what God is doing across the island of Ireland. We are in the process of bringing these stories together into a printed magazine this autumn alongside a digital version for those who prefer to read a soft copy. And into 2027, we intend to continue producing magazines and articles both online and in printed formats.

Here’s a tiny taste of what’s in store…

VOX has always been a labour of love by a group of passionate volunteers who wanted to serve the Church. (No one receives a salary). We’d love you to join us on this journey. Please get in touch if you have a story to tell, if you’d like to join our team of writers, if you’d be interested in volunteering with us to help with distribution or if you’d like to order copies of VOX for your church or group.

We welcome advertisers who would like to get their message across to a wider audience and we’d love to hear from anyone who would like to partner with us financially to help make this happen.

With grateful thanks, The VOX Team 2026

"I love VOX because it is an all-Ireland expression of the Christian faith and you get to hear from such a wide range of people. Earlier this year, an intergenerational cross community, cross border group of Christians met over three days to explore the richness of understanding across the generations. Ruth Garvey-Williams, the editor of VOX, was part of that group. We learned so much from each other and one of the outcomes of that journey together was to help get VOX up and running again! I was delighted to be asked to be a part of the intergenerational editorial team!"  Diane Holt

"We are delighted that VOX magazine is back - we have missed it, and it is needed at this time! VOX gives voice to the diversity and creativity of how local Christian communites embedded across Ireland are becoming and bearing witness to the Kingdom of God among us. The stories in this little magazine lift our eyes, enlarge our imagination and raise our shared faith that our God is at work in the people and places of this island. More than that - these stories can call us to the privilege of knowing our unity across the church, and to bearing faithful witness to His work in our own patch." Donna Jennings
