How does the church respond to the tragedy of suicide? How can we be effective in suicide prevention?
Ireland's Christian magazine, VOX is hosting a series of one-day conferences around Ireland to inform and equip churches and Christians (of all denominations and backgrounds) as they seek to respond to suicide and engage in suicide prevention.

Barry Condon, church leader and founder of Suaimhneas (a depression support group)
The conference will run from 10am to 3pm (registration from 9.30) and will feature workshops and inspiring, practical examples as well as opportunities for discussion and questions. Other speakers include: Stephen Bradley (Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing(, Linda Rowett, (Christian Counsellor) and Ruth Garvey-Williams, (VOX magazine editor and chair of an award-winning community suicide prevention group).
Tickets cost €20 per person and €10 for students / concessions (including lunch, tea & coffee and the conference resource pack).
