Christmas Tree Festival

Cricken Church is holding a fabulous community Christmas Tree Festival to mark their 175th anniversary.. Entitled “Journey to Bethlehem” the festival will tell the Christmas Story in a unique and enchanting way. 

More than 40 trees will be decorated by local schools, community groups, & businesses. From 6” foot natural fir trees, to sculpted ones made from books, tyres and other materials, each will tell  part of the Christmas story. The trees will include the Shepherd’s Tree, the Journey Tree, the Good News Tree and the Angel’s Tree.

The festival will be open to the public:

  • Friday 4 December 10am- 9pm
  • Saturday 5 December  10am-9pm
  • Sunday 6 December 2pm- 8pm.

Admission is free but donations are welcome in aid of festival expenses and the Storehouse(food bank).

 Teas and coffees will be available.
