U2’s SONGS of INNOCENCE - AN EVENING OF PERFORMANCES AND THEOLOGICAL THOUGHTS

  • Crinken Church of Ireland, Bray

U2 are the biggest rock band in the world. Their new album takes them back to their Dublin youth and finds them dealing with trauma and healing. In this evening of songs and reflections you will hear the core songs of the record performed by singers from Fitzroy Presbyterian Church in Belfast (Chris Wilson, Dave Thompson, Neil Sedgewick and Jonny Fitch) and a Dublin guest (Jonny Rowen of Pelvis and Lofires). Three of the singers have recorded albums so the quality will be top rate.

Between songs, Steve Stockman, minister of Fitzroy will share his take on the songs. We guarantee you will learn things about U2 and listen with more understanding to what they are about.

Steve Stockman is author of Walk On; The Spiritual Journey of U2 and has spoken, lectured and preached about U2 in churches, Universities and Festivals all over the world as well as on BBC, ITV’s South Bank and Sky News.
